What I Did

Final UI Interface Design

Mamata Business

Mamata Healthcare is a digital health platform that connects patients and doctors in one app, enabling doctor discovery, appointment booking, consultations, prescriptions, and healthcare service management.

High-Fidelity UI Design for Mamata Healthcare’s Doctor & Patient App

I contributed to this project as a UI Designer, where the UX team had already defined the flows and wireframes. My role was to design the final high-fidelity screens and refine many component layouts to improve clarity. By restructuring UI components to keep key information consistent and well-aligned, I made appointment and consultation details easier for doctors and patients to scan and understand across different scenarios.

Problem Statement

Although the UX flows and wireframes were already defined, several components and layouts were difficult to scan due to dense information and inconsistent structure. With multiple appointment states and scenarios for both doctors and patients, the interface lacked visual clarity, making it harder for users to quickly understand key details during interactions.

4. Common Design Language

Established consistent layout patterns, spacing, typography, and visual hierarchy to be used across the entire app.

3. Layout Refinement
Improved component structures so key information appears in a predictable and scannable order.

2. UI Audit
Evaluated each screen and component to identify scanning issues. Many components used different layouts to present similar information, which made the interface inconsistent and harder to quickly understand.

Design Process

1. Wireframe Review
Studied all UX wireframes to understand doctor and patient flows across the app.

5. Component Design
Designed flexible UI components that adapt to different appointment and consultation states.

6. High-Fidelity UI
Created the final screens using reusable components, typography tokens, and color tokens to ensure visual consistency across the product.

Final Output

The project resulted in a clean and consistent high-fidelity UI for Mamata Healthcare’s doctor and patient app. By refining component layouts and establishing a common design language, the interface became easier to scan across different appointment and consultation states. Consistent component structures, typography, and color tokens helped maintain visual clarity and ensured the UI could scale across the entire application while supporting multiple healthcare workflows.
